Dear, your mother and I used to go down to the drive-in and…what's that? You don't know what a drive-in is? Well, it's kind of like a movie theater….what? Oh…yes those places we used to go to…well, like Netflix, but sort of in a big group….why, you say? Because it's social, like a bunch of friends listening to a CD….eh? Yes, exactly those shiny discs that replaced records, you can read about them if you pick up a history book down at the bookstore…oh, never mind. The last one closed.

The amusements may change, but the couches seem to be getting bigger and more comfortable. Whatever media we will be consuming in the near future, we will likely consume more and more of it, and in shorter and shorter chunks.
